Product director Rasmus Kjaer identifies five bathroom design trends

• Expect to see more freeform shapes and asymmetric designs in basins as the industry moves away from strict geometrics and square lines
• Look out for more interesting finishes on furniture, such as Dansani's tactile, velvety-smooth rubber
• Notice the finer points: good design is the sum of all details. Soft-close drawers, doors and mirror cabinets, smart handles and top quality finishing are a must
• Bathrooms are often quite small, so it's important to offer furniture that can fit into narrow spaces. But make sure the basin isn't mean - why can't it be deep to convey a sense of luxury?
• Form continues to follow function as far as Dansani's design philosophy is concerned. Dansani seeks to offer simple and practical solutions that fit into peoples homes, not ornate designs that take over the room.
